Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Authority for Civil Society Organizations (ASCO) awarded PAD a certificate of recognition for its contribution of summer volunteerism program. 

ACSO launched a volunteerism management information system (VMIS) which is the first in Ethiopia. It is officially launched yesterday, at Adama, following the celebration of the international volunteer day. The VMIS aimed to work as a bridge to link volunteers and volunteer seeking organizations.
