Positive Action for Development On the way to launch a new project working to benefit street children.

Positive Action for Development is on the way to launch a new Project entitled “Service for Street Children” to implement in Dire Dawa City Administration. The Project Directly Benefit 352 Street Children who are working and living on the street. The Duration of the project is 2 years.

The main objective of the project: is to improve the economic, educational, and/or social reintegration of street children through providing basic social and livelihood services. The project will provide integrated shelter & care, Food, Medical Care, psycho-social, and rehabilitative services for the children.

To provide the services PAD already rented a drop-in center and it is under furnishing to enable to provide a full package of service for the children. The Furnishing and Strengthening activities are going to complete Soon. The project will be launched as soon as the center starts to provide service for the targeted street children.
