PAD launched its project titled "Resilient Government and Civic Engagement for More Gender Responsive Mental Health Outcome" financed by CSSP2 in partnership with Dire Dawa Health Bureau and Bureau of Labor Social Affairs. The project was launched in the presence of a large number of regional government officials, CSSP2 representatives, health sector representatives, community representatives, religious leaders, and CBO representatives.

The project launching workshop was carried with the overall objective of officially launching the project. Specifically, the launching workshop intended:

To notify detailed objectives, results, aim, and goal of the project.

To notify the burden of mental illness issues.

To create awareness of the respective role of each party in realizing the intended objective.
