About Project

  • Our Emergency Shelter Non-food item distribution project for conflict-affected women, children, and people affected by Tigray conflict in the Northern parts of Ethiopia has made a significant impact on the lives of those in need. The project has been implemented in Sekota town and Zequala woreda of Waghimra zone in Amhara region, targeting 5200 households, which is about 25,400 individuals. Similarly, PAD reached out to 300 households, which is about 15,000 individuals in Kobo and Raya Alamate. In addition to this, PAD reached out to 2070 households, of which 500 were in East Bale Ginir zone in Sewina keble, while the remaining 1570 households were reached in Dire and Elwaye woredas of Borena zone in Oromia region.
  • In total, the project has reached over 35,670 women, children, and people with disabilities affected by conflict and drought. Through this project, we have provided essential non-food items to those in need, ensuring that they have access to basic necessities during times of crisis. Our efforts have helped to alleviate the suffering of those affected by conflict and drought, providing them with much-needed support and assistance.
