PAD Multipurpose cash assistance, is a cash distribution approach designed to flexibly meet basic needs in a humanitarian response. Because it is “multipurpose,” it offers the simplest, most direct method of meeting a crisis affected community’s diverse needs, such as food, rent, water and bus fare. PAD Multipurpose cash is both unconditional and unrestricted.
Our Multipurpose cash objectives are –
- To meet the basic needs of vulnerable households
- To address the diverse needs of crisis affected people.
This way in the last few years alone PAD managed to address above 20,000 IDPs in Amhara (North Wollo and Sekota Zone) and Oromia (Borena and bale Zone) through multipurpose cash assistance using the fund obtained from international donations collaboration with UN agencies and other international NGO’s.
